THE CLIENT
Tigera provides an active Cloud-Native Application Platform (CNAPP) with full-stack observability for containers and Kubernetes, and is the creator and maintainer of Calico Open Source, the most widely used container networking and security solution. Their solutions are used by leading companies, including AT&T, Discover, Merck, ServiceNow, HanseMerkur, RealPage, L3Harris, and Mindbody.
THE CHALLENGE
Tigera onboarded a new VP of Marketing who was tasked to quickly build out new messaging and positioning for the company, grow the team and accelerate brand and market awareness. One core issue, as a fast-growing startup with limited resources, is they didn’t have a large budget to hire a big agency, but the team really needed strong PR results.

Adopt-a-Pet.com is a leading pet adoption website and is all about getting homeless pets into homes. They help over 21,000 animal shelters, humane societies, SPCAs, pet rescue groups, and pet adoption agencies advertise their homeless pets to millions of adopters a month, all for free.
THE CHALLENGE
Operating in a very competitive market with lots of consumer options, Adopt-a-Pet.com wanted to stand out with consumers against PetFinder.com.
THE SOLUTION
SamsonPR developed and launched an ADOPT campaign to raise national awareness for 1) the importance of pet adoption and 2) to drive consumers to use Adopt-a-Pet.com. The campaign brought in artist Shepard Fairey to create an ADOPT image, and rolled that out at a high-profile media event with media, celebrities and influencers.
